'Auha 'oukou e nā makamaka 'o kēía pae 'āina 'o Hawai'i nei, a me ka po'e a puni ka hōnua e hui pū nei me mākou ma luna o ka moku 'imi na'auao 'o E/V Nautilus.  Ua ha'alele nō mākou i ka mokupuni 'o O'ahu a Lua i kēia kakahiaka a ke holo nei mākou i ke kai hema 'o Hawai'i nei.  E 'imi ana mākou i ko mākou wahi mua e lu'u ana i ka papakū o ka moana ma kēia holo 'ana o mākou.  Nāpo'o ka lā i Ka'elemoe, ke pā konane nei ka mahina i ka pō Mohalu, 'imo'imo nā hōkū i ka pō.  He pō nani nō e holo ma luna o ka poli 'o Kanaloa.Greeting to all who are following us from the Hawai'i, as well as around the world who have joined us on board the E/V Nautilus.  We have departed 'O'ahu a Lua this morning and are now in transit in to the Pacific Ocean south of the Hawaiian Islands, currently heading for our first ROV dive site.  The sun has set on the western horizon, the stars twinkle brightly and the Mohalu moon shines bright overhead, It is a beautiful night to be sailing on the ocean of Kanaloa
