Get Involved SharkPulse Citizen Science

Join the Mālama Manō shark research team on an integrated research journey in the Hawaiian Islands, assessing shark abundance and diversity while featuring three key understandings that classrooms can follow along with anywhere.

You can get involved via citizen science in monitoring shark populations around the world by helping to develop the SharkPulse artificial intelligent engine.  By running more images or videos through the sharkPulse app, we can all help boost the Shark Detector’s accuracy and taxonomic range!  Learn more in the educator guide and citizen science instructions attached.
