Bamboo Coral

Bit by bit, bamboo corals build and branch out over centuries. Their tentacled polyps catch nutrients and turn them into sustenance and structure, allowing these tropical coral cousins to survive without sunlight. Thriving in deepwater habitats, they require hard substrate to anchor themselves into productive currents as they filter feed their meals.
