Seas of Green - Designing a Plankton

Students will

• learn about plankton from reading, a teacher presentation, or personal research.
• demonstrate knowledge examining a food web that relies on plankton.  
• design plankton with structures to prevent it from sinking to stay in the sunlit prime-plankton habitat of the ocean surface. Construct a model of that plankton with provided supplies.
• present their plankton design sharing key adaptations.
