Matt Slusher

Matt Slusher works as one of the ROV pilots onboard E/V Nautilus.  This is Matt’s second season onboard the Nautilus.  In addition to his duties as an ROV Pilot Matt is an electronics technician for the ROV systems for equipment upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.  Matt has worked in the marine research community for ten years and has accumulated over that time a wide variety of technical experience within the field. 

Matt graduated from the United States Army Electronics Tactical Systems Repairer course in 1999 and was honorably discharged in 2001 having served a total four years in Military Intelligence.
