Gilad Antler

Gilad Antler is studying the mechanism of bacterial sulfate reduction using geochemical approaches. The combined measurement of pore water profiles of sulfur and oxygen isotopes in sulfate and their modeling will allow for a better understanding of the sulfur cycle. During his M.Sc and B.Sc, Gilad participated in research cruises throughout the Mediterranean, the Sea of Galilee, the Red Sea and the Dead Sea.
Gilad graduated from Ben Gurion University in 2009 with a degree in Geological and Environmental Sciences and is currently working on is M.Sc in Geological and Environmental Sciences at Ben Gurion.
