Dive Highlights August 26th, 2013

On our latest dive we returned to Mt. Dent and the Von Damm vent fields. Here we explored a transect up a previously unexplored side of the mountain. We found extremely interesting geology and sampled rocks every 30 meters. In addition we found a large amount of interesting biology culminating in our sampling of the shrimp at the main spire of the hydrothermal vent.
