Thomas Lanagan

Tom Lanagan has been a mechanical engineer for the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution since 2009, prior to that he was an Engineering Assistant since 2006. During his time at WHOI Tom has made several cruises with the Jason group, the Alvin group, The Long Core, RHOV Nereus. When not at sea, Tom designs underwater housings, underwater chemical sensor, profilers, and numerous other sensor platforms. 

In 2009 Tom completed an undergraduate degree program through the University of Vermont with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and a BA from Saint Michael's College.
