Tell us about your work/research. What kinds of things do you do?
I am apart of the ASV team of University of New Hampshire, we have multiple ASV's but will be focusing on USV Drix on the Nautilus. This is my first cruise with the Drix and will be learning the piloting process through this campaign.
What sparked your initial interest in your career?
I have always be intrigued by the ocean via surfing, fishing, snorkeling and have found a way to further that interest.
Who influenced you or encouraged you the most?
The great people here at UNH CCOM.
What element of your work/study do you think is the most fascinating?
I currently find the piloting of the USV Drix the most interesting, learning how it works has been an interesting process.
Who other jobs led you to your current career?
I have worked as an engineer in a variety of environments; Timberland Boot Company, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Space Satellite Programs, and USV Drix Operations. The skills and knowledge I've gained from each other these positions have become valuable in my position here on UNH CCOM's ASV Team.

What are your hobbies?
Skiing, Fly Fishing, Surfing, Biking, Backpacking
What advice would you give someone who wants to have a career like yours?
Don't be afraid to take on new projects.
