Masako Tominaga is the principal investigator of Multiscale Applied Physics Lab for Earth Science (MAPLES) at Department of Geological Sciences, Michigan State University. Her work focuses on studying the evolution of oceanic lithosphere using geophysical methods.
Masako Tominaga graduated from Waseda University in 2002 with a degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Engineering and completed her MS (2005) and PhD(2009) in geological oceanography at Department of Oceanography, Texas A&M University.
