Tell us about your work/ research. What kinds of things do you do?
I maintain the KONGSBERG SIS application, which is used for operating the EM304 Echosounder. I have been working for KONGSBERG since 1997 and have been the technical lead for the SIS software project for the last 10 years. I'm really looking forward to working with the mapping team and the opportunity to test our equipment in deeper waters. I also hope to teach the mapping team some new practices in how to best use the SIS application.
