Chris Nygren
Chris Nygren is a graduate student working under Dr. Steven DiMarco researching slope interactions with current flow along the Texas-Louisiana Shelf. His current work is towards a skill assessment for Gulf of Mexico models with respect to long term variability. Before coming to Texas A&M Chris worked as a contractor at 3M's Weathering Resource Center managing data on synthesized weathering degradation. In his undergrad, Chris designed and built a robot to explore inland tidal caves on El Salvador, Bahamas.
Chris Nygren graduated from St. Olaf College in 2012 with a degree in Physics and Mathematics. He is currently a graduate student under Steven DiMarco at Texas A&M University working towards a PhD in Oceanography.
