Charles Scott Follett
Scott Follett works as one of the Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Technicians on board the E/V Nautilus.
Scott is a student of the ROV Technician program at Marine Institute, dealing with the piloting and maintenance of ROVs. He is also the pilot and a member of the Eastern Edge Robotics Team, who design, build and compete in an international ROV competition held every year by the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) Center. During the seven years competing at the post-secondary level, the team has placed first three times, second once, and third once.
Scott graduated from Memorial University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree; discipline: Mechanical and will graduate from the ROV Technician program at Marine Institute, Fall 2011.
