Amanda Boudreaux
Amanda Boudreaux is a 6th grade physical science teacher at WW Lewis Middle School with 12 years of experience. In addition to teaching for Calcasieu Parish School Board, Amanda is a group fitness instructor for Dynamic Dimensions through West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital. She is the Wellness Coordinator, serves on the schools PBIS committee and is the Robotics Coach. Amanda uses a variety of fun, problem solving techniques in her classroom, which teaches her students to ask questions, and then guides investigations that may help them answer those questions.
Amanda Boudreaux graduated from McNeese State University in 2003 with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education.
"As the Robotics coach, I am so excited about this experience. I am confident that this opportunity will allow me to broaden the real world applications of STEM concepts in my classroom, as well as with my Robotics students. My hopes are to use this experience to inspire, engage, and educate others of the endless possibilities science has to offer."
