Agustin Ortiz is the Historic Preservation & Outreach Coordinator (CTR) for NHHC’s Underwater Archaeology Branch (UAB). He holds a Master’s degree in Maritime Archaeology from the University of Southern Denmark and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Agustin is responsible for coordinating UAB’s internship program, creating digital content for the public, and conducting archaeological research on the Navy’s submerged ship and aircraft wrecks.
