The Department of Oceanography at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa is one of the global leaders in ocean science, research, and education. With more than 50 experienced faculty members, The department pursues interdisciplinary research in a wide variety of fields of study, including physical, biological and chemical oceanography, as well as helps develop the necessary skills and knowledge to address present and future marine challenges.
