It takes two: Exploring the symbiotic relationships found in Palau’s waters

The deep sea is cold, dark, and vast – a place where it can be tough to live alone. Symbiosis is defined as a close, prolonged association between two or more different organisms. This relationship can be mutual, in which both parties benefit from each other’s company; commensal, in which one benefits and the other is unaffected; or parasitic, in which one benefits and the other is harmed.
