South of Kick 'em Jack Dive Highlights November 14, 2013

This is the highlight album of our dive from November 14, 2013.  We looked for hydrothermal vent activity in the crater that was seen on a multibeam map to the south of Kick 'em Jack.  This area hosted a wide array of marine organisms such as hermit crabs, lobsters, squids, anemones, urcins, a large isopod, glass sponges, and one of our favorites, the dumbo octopus. This area was covered in sediment, which provided a quick hiding place for organisms such as shrimp.
