Dive Highlights August 20th, 2013

After mapping a previously uknown large undewater mountain named the Nautilus Massif. This mountain is off the coast of Grand Cayman in the Cayman Trough. This was the deepest dive to date of the season so far for Hercules and Argus. We explored the mountain searching for evience of hydrothermal vent activity or Lost City type geology. While we did not find any vents we did find some interesting geology and quite a bit of active biology.
