Jacquelyn Kubicko
Jacquelyn Kubicko is a first class cadet (senior) at the United States Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) in New London, CT. She is in her final year at the Academy, working towards a B.S. in Marine and Environmental Science and her commission as an officer in the United States Coast Guard. In addition to classes, Jacquelyn is working on independent research in ocean wave acoustics. She is hoping to be accepted to a graduate program abroad upon graduation from USCGA. As an active duty member of the United States Coast Guard, Jacquelyn has had operational experience, spending each summer underway on USCG cutters, at small boat stations, or at sectors.
Jacquelyn Kubicko graduated from the Academy of Our Lady of Mercy; Lauralton Hall high school in Milford, CT in 2012. She is currently working on completing her B.S. in Marine & Environmental Science at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. Upon graduation, Jacquelyn will be a commissioned officer in the United States Coast Guard, and currently holds an active duty status in the U.S. Military.

Rather than shying away from the challenge the ocean evokes, I am drawn to the complexities this unique environment presents, and see these challenges not as "deterrents", but rather as puzzles to be solved."
