Silas Whitley is an undergraduate in Geology at the Universiy of Idaho. Silas worked as a rock and mineral curator for a museum in his hometown. He enjoys his spare time fishing, hiking and camping.
Silas Whitley is an undergraduate in geological sciences at the university of Idaho. He will graduate this spring.
"I got interested in ocean exploration as a kid; I was always interested in fish and wanted to find new species. I'm still interested in the biology of oceans, but now geology is my focus and perhaps how the two correlate. I'm excited to work on this project for a chance to see both biology and geology of something still curious to me."
