Jane Piechota

Jane is an archaeological conservator who has worked on contract with the Institute for Exploration preserving its collection of deepwater artifacts for over twenty years. She and her husband Dennis Piechota have a private conservation practice, Object and Textile Conservation. They have devised a longterm artifact deterioration study and will be recovering scientific data for that study from the anoxic Black Sea.    

Jane graduated from Finch College in 1970 with a degree in art history.
