Alicia Eichinger is the former Guest Services Supervisor at Sea Research Foundation's Mystic Aquarium. She managed the interpretation staff at all the aquarium's major exhibits and was the Nautilus Live Theater's Presentation Team Leader. This will be her fourth expedition as a presenter in the theater. Alicia is currently the Executive Director of the Salt Ponds Coalition which is a non-profit organization focused on protecting and enhancing the health of the salt ponds located in southern Rhode Island. She has a longstanding interest in the intersection of science with law and policy, and the effects of all three on the protection of our oceans.

Alicia Eichinger graduated from Villanova University in 2006 with a degree in Biology. In 2009, she completed both her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law and her Master of Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island.

"Since I collected my first seashell down the shore, I wanted to know more about the ocean. Now to be aboard Nautilus, as a member of the Corps of Exploration, with the opportunity to inspire people around the globe to learn more about the ocean is dream fulfilled."
